Staffordshire Bull Terrier Page

This page is dedicated to our beloved Staffordshire Bull Terriers - Caine and Cracker - and we dedicate the kennel and website to them both.

Caine was the son of multi champion and titled CH. Rogue Saga, and looked very similar to him and his dad CH. Domino Flashy Lad - again multi titled and world famous. Caine came to live with me when he was just six weeks old, although even at that age he was "Fully Switched On" and very intelligent and kind.

We showed Caine with great results - he won lots of puppy shows and was untouchable in the show ring as a puppy. Then disaster struck! One day he was attacked by a large Japanese Akita in the park. It resulted in no more shows for Caine, but after eighteen months of care and £2000 later I nursed him back to full health.

Caine and myself were inseparable and never had one night apart in nearly twelve years. His favourite days out were to the local pub, where he loved a half of beer and a packet of pork scratchings, and then we walked them off on the way home together.

Caine was studded out several times with very solid healthy pups to boot - some taking on the look of Caine, Rogue Saga and Domino Flashy Lad. One time I was approached by a lad in Sheffield town centre and asked if I would use him over his champion drag pulling female - a dog similar looking to Caine and part of the Yorkshire line.

Three months later Cracker was born and she was "pick of the litter". A quite rare "skewbald" female with a Bullseye patch over an eye. Cracker wasn't ever bred, and remains still the pup to this day.

Luckily enough I've not had any real problems with my Staffords over the years, although mischief has played a very big part in their lives - from hiding clothes to raiding the fridge. To be honest I couldn't have ever asked for two better dogs than Caine and Cracker...
